bringing a little honesty to the fine art of partisanship
When I initially went to check out Jews Against Obama, I expected to find a community of Jewish people, discussing why they felt Barack Obama was an inappropriate candidate to represent them. Having dated a Jewish person, having a sister who is currently converting to Judaism, I expected a certain amount of insularity and expression of community pride.
Talk about underestimating reality.
The Audacity of Hypocrisy is a site which, in its own words, “provide[s] you with unfiltered news about Obama. This site is an alternative view to the mainstream media news coverage about Obama.” Admittedly, we were disappointed to discover that the news they provide is, in fact, highly filtered…through a very anti-Obama lens, no less. But with a name like that, what else could we expect?
