The Audacity of Hypocrisy is a site which, in its own words, “provide[s] you with unfiltered news about Obama. This site is an alternative view to the mainstream media news coverage about Obama.” Admittedly, we were disappointed to discover that the news they provide is, in fact, highly filtered…through a very anti-Obama lens, no less. But with a name like that, what else could we expect?

Features: “Laundry List of Lies” (76 at the time of this review), witty anti-Obama play on an Obama book title.
Observations: This site has a lot of potential. There has been a lot of effort put into collecting together a list of all of the accusations being made against Barack Obama, and this site provides many links to “verify” the data. Unfortunately, their claims of being “unfiltered” comes into question quite often.
The primary aim of this site seems to be to present only negative news about Barack Obama - meaning, first and foremost, that they have at least one filter - “negative news only”. And while their “Laundry List of Lies” is comprehensive, many of the conclusions drawn lack logic or verity.
An item pulled from their “laundry list”:
75) “I did not take money from oil companies” -LIAR- It is against the law to take money from oil companies. None of your opponents take money from oil companies either.
We at VYI can appreciate taking a candidate to task for stating the obvious or, in this case, spinning the obvious to reflect positively upon oneself. However, the logical leap taken to equate “stating the obvious in a way so as to flatter onself” with “-LIAR-[sic]” is a wild one. In fact, we imagine the leaper flailing his arms wildly and screaming at pigeons in broken English.
Conclusion: VYI thinks this site will be a valuable resource for keeping up-to-date with the latest anti-Obama rhetoric online, and is considering creating a category devoted entirely to examining each item on AoH’s “laundry list”.
